Introduce yourself!
A:
Hi! My name is Angela Tellier. I'm a professional photographer from Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

Why did you make the decision to go natural?
A:
I have been natural for about 9 years now. Growing up my Mom never allowed me to relax my hair. So I kept my natural curls until I was about eight. Being the only colored girl in elementary school I had a hard time accepting that my color and hair texture were beautiful and normal, and I didn't understand that they were part of my roots and who I am. So at eight I wanted to get my hair straightened. After long contemplation, my mother allowed me to do so. I kept doing this at home and at salons until I was 19. My hair looked terrible during those years. I had a lot of breakage from heat damage. Seriously, I was desperate enough to use an iron once!

My family and I lived in a small city near Harlem and you couldn't buy any black hair products around town. When I was 19 I went on a holiday to Spain after skipping the salon for a while to save money. After a few days my hair was rough and frizzy because of the combination of salt water and sunshine. It lightened up and my natural texture came through. I f-ing loved it! I hadn't seen my own texture in years, and suddenly I couldn't believe why I ever used chemicals to straighten my hair. I never did a big chop. When it comes to hair, I'm not that brave lol. I just let it grow and chopped off the ends every now and then until I had a full fro.

How would you describe your texture?
A:
I guess my hair texture would be a combination of 3C, 4A and a little 3B in the nape. It changes though over the years. I like the mix of hair types because it allows me to change it up. With a little more product and no touching while air drying, I can easily turn it into a 3B/C type, and with less product and a little pulling, I get a 3C/4A kinda situation. I colored my hair a few times blond and red, but every time I lost a lot of my length because of breakage. I like to swim also, and the chloride in the water doesn't really help keeping your hair strong and healthy. I decided that I just won't color my full head of hair, so if I really want to spice things up, I can color parts of it. I've never used it, but I've heard good things about Henna.

Describe your styling regimen over the course of the month.
A:
I wash when I feel that my hair needs to be washed. I think once every 10 days depending on how much product I have used, or if I went out and my hair reeks of cigarettes. I use Aveda Be Curly Shampoo. It's an organic shampoo. Sometimes I like to change things up and use black soap. Next to that I use Kinky Curly Curling Custard every now and then, but mostly in the summer. I finish bottles of Kinky Curly Knot Today to be able to comb my hair in the shower. I can't go a day without my Kinky Curly (at this moment I'm out of it and it's a battle to comb the knots out).

Next to that I use Shea Moisture Curl & Style Milk on my dry curls in combination with a water spritzer to pep things up, and I try to use a deep treatment mask ever week. Right now I'm trying the one from the Shea Moisture line, but I'm not really a big fan of it. I prefer Curls Curl Ecstasy Hair Tea Deep Conditioner. And EVERY day I use pure organic coconut oil and pure shea butter. Sometimes I melt a blend of the two with a dash of almond oil. The shea butter I buy on the African market comes in blocks. The coconut oil I use is from the supermarket. The one you cook with, and that smells slightly like coconut. I also use the coconut oil and shea butter as a body lotion/face cream every day. When it's wintertime I like to use Jamaican black castor oil on my ends and scalp. Before bedtime I try to twist my hair. This doesn't always work since I can be very lazy when it comes to that, but I do sleep on a satin pillowcase.

What does wash day look like for you?
A:
I have a shower that runs for 15 minutes before the hot water is done. So I wash quickly. I wet my hair almost every day and in between washing I wash with conditioner. One thing I always do when my hair is wet is put a little coconut oil and shea butter in it, and use product after. That way my curls stay hydrated all day. When I do it the other way around I have to use more product during the day.

Describe your favorite go-to hairstyle for days when you don't have a lot of time to style.
A:
Afro, down, or a fluffy tail with bangs. I used to love box braids, but I haven't done that in a very long time.

How do you combat shrinkage?
A:
Shrinkage has never really been a problem for me. It doesn't shrink that much. Now that it's growing longer it gets kinda flat on top, but I don't mind. I can switch it up when I don't feel like big hair. When I want it more fluffy I spritz it with a combination of water and conditioner, comb it a little bit, or in the worst case blow it out; although I rarely use a blow dryer.

What are some of your problem areas (if any) that require special care and attention?
A:
My nape. Every day I have knots there close to tiny dreads. It's because my clothes cause friction. I have tried a lot of things to make sure it doesn't happen, but as of now I just have to get them out every night, or make a small braid in my nape area. Next to that my scalp gets very dry in the winter, and I have some damage around my hairline from the years I used chemicals to relax my hair.

What are 2 do's for your texture?
A:
Keeping my hair conditioned is a definite do.

What are 2 don'ts for your texture?
A:
Coloring my hair and sleeping without it in twists, or without a satin pillowcase.

Third graders in IPS rank last in the state for reading, in the latest proficiency exam. The spring exam gave them a score of just over 65-percent, half a point down from last year. Zionsville Community Schools was the top area district with a score of more than 97-percent of students passing.

The city's curfew for teenagers is staying the same for now. A public hearing was held last night on a proposal that would move the curfew for those between the ages of 15 and 17 to 11 p.m. every night of the week. The vote could take place next month.

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel is ordering a review of new hairstyle rules for servicewomen. The Army has new rules that ban braids, cornrows, twists and dreadlocks. More than a dozen women members of the Congressional Black Caucus have complained about restrictions that describe the styles as "unkempt" and "matted."

U.S. Army Hairstyle Ban

WASHINGTON (CNN) — The Pentagon will review its polices on hairstyles following backlash from African-American soldiers, who said the Army's revised rules are racially and culturally biased.

Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel has notified Congress that he has directed his deputy to "work with the service secretaries and the military chiefs to review their respective policies, to address the issues raised by members of Congress about grooming standards, particularly for African-American females," Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said this week.

Over the next month, the military will take a close look at the "the definitions of authorized and prohibited hairstyles contained in each of their respective policies and revise any offensive language," Kirby said.

"During the next three months, each service will review their hairstyle policies as they pertain to African-American women to ensure standards are fair and respectful of our diverse force, while also meeting our military service's requirements," he said.

Hagel will tweak Pentagon policies accordingly after the reviews are completed, Kirby added.

The latest twist in the hairstyle saga follows an uproar over the Army's new grooming guidelines.

Those rules require such things as hair "must be of uniform dimension, small in diameter (approximately ¼ inch), show no more than 1/8 (inch) of the scalp between the braids."

Current Army rules ban dreadlocks and twists of any kind as well as styles it views as "unkempt" or "matted."

That type of language rankled African-American soldiers, their supporters and the female members of the Congressional Black Caucus, who said the guidelines force African-American women with "natural" hair textures — those unaltered by heat or chemicals — to either cut or straighten their roots in order to conform to the Army's rules and mainstream cultural standards.

One African-American female soldier started an online White House petition, which received more than 13,000 signatures and is no longer on the website.

The Army's rules also touched on centuries old cultural identity politics that have been a sensitive issue for the black community since slavery.

During that time, and for the generations that followed, straighter hair texture and lighter skin complexion was used to classify which slaves were more valuable and seen as more attractive, African-American scholars noted.

Those values, once internalized, damaged self-esteem and were perpetuated within the black community for years, those experts said.

The Army had previously rejected criticism of its policies as discriminatory since African-American women helped craft the new regulations. Those guidelines regulate the style of hair parts, braid width and hair thickness.

The female members of the Congressional Black Caucus also wrote Hagel earlier this month criticizing the Army's new guidelines as "discriminatory rules targeting soldiers who are women of color with little regard to what is needed to maintain their natural hair."

Those who objected to the regulations applauded Hagel's intervention.

"Members of the CBC appreciate Secretary Hagel for his prompt response to our letter and for seriously considering our concerns," chairwoman Rep. Chair Marcia Fudge, an Ohio Democrat, said in a written statement. "The secretary's response affirms his commitment to ensuring all individuals are welcomed and can continue to be proud of serving within our armed forces."

More creative personalities often choose a natural curly look or braided hairstyles. Younger guys love somewhat messy hairstyles with a cool mean look that drives girls crazy.

Most of them stick to short and medium-length haircuts, because they offer a stylish look and low maintenance. Anyway, you can look through many selections of the best haircuts for African American men and try one of those. For those who have the classic facial features, can't benefit better than from a simple short buzz haircut. With this haircut, people will concentrate on your face. Trendy and attractive curls also would look very professional and natural at the same time. Fade haircuts are really among black men's favorites. On black men, they'll look especially advantageous. Thanks to natural hair thickness and darker hues.

Some of the hairstyles are perfectly emphasizes the man's facial features and could be accentuated with short beard and perfectly trimmed moustache outlines. There are some quite unusual style too, a good idea for someone who wants to stand out of the crowd, who is self-confident and creative. But some also goes for classy curls and natural looks. “Offensive” Hair Regulations for Black Women - Styleite

The Army finally has to pay attention to one third of its population.

The military announced yesterday that it will review AR 670-1, their grooming regulations that servicewomen have been calling discriminatory. The regulations disallow twists, "dreadlocks", and cornrows larger than a quarter of an inch in diameter, which isn't practical for some hair types that women of color have. Blatant racism masquerading as safety is something we've seen countless institutions strive for. We presume these mandates come on the authority of superior intelligence from the Department of Defense, made of of people clueless about hairdos.

This demeaning-looking shot (above) from the regulations was the one that circulated the internet, and was only one photo of a series depicting other demographics and other hair offenses. But those weren't the unreasonable ones, which is why people have been petitioning the unauthorized hairstyles. The female members of the Congressional Black Caucus recently wrote a letter to the Department of Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel encouraging him to reconsider the updates to the regulation.

It explains to the Army why they need basic training in how to speak to people.

…the use of words like "unkempt" and "matted" when referring to traditional hairstyles worn by women of color are offensive and biased. The assumption that individuals wearing these hairstyles cannot maintain them in a way that meets the professionalism of Army standards indicates a lack of cultural sensitivity conducive to creating a tolerant environment of minorities.

In other words, wake up, you sound disgusting.

Many African American women put forth great effort in ensuring their hair is maintained in a way that allows them to be acknowledged for their ability and commitment to the tasks and challenges before them, rather than their appearance. We urge you to consider the direction in which the updated regulation will ultimately lead the Armed Forces.

This will have to end in less offensive grooming regulations.

Pentagon Reviews New Hair Regulations For Black Women | Clutch ...

Posted: 30 Apr 2014 08:01 AM PDT

Screen Shot 2014-04-30 at 11.00.07 AMThe Pentagon is reviewing its hairstyle regulations after the Congressional Black Caucus complained that the Army had unfairly targeted black women in its new rules.

Examples of the new rules included bangs that hit above the eyebrows and pony tails that center on the back of the head. Extensions and wigs are authorized as long as they conform to the standards and look like natural hair.

What caucus chair Rep. Marcia Fudge (D-Ohio) and her colleagues objected to was the Army's usage of certain words.

"The use of words like 'unkempt' and 'matted,' when referring to traditional hairstyles worn by women of color are offensive and biased," Fudge and her colleagues told Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel. "The assumption that individuals wearing these hairstyles cannot maintain them in a way that meets the professionalism of the Army standards indicates a lack of cultural sensitivity conducive to creating a tolerant environment for minorities.

Hagel replied [http://cbc.fudge.house.gov/uploads/SecrretaryHagelResponse.pdf] assuring Fudge and other members that no one in the Pentagon meant to "discriminate or disparage" black women in formulating the Army's new rules.

"Secretary Hagel has committed to careful review of each service's language and grooming policies to ensure both are clear of offensive language and are respectful of the diversity within our armed forces," Fudge wrote in response. "The secretary's response affirms his commitment to ensuring all individuals are welcomed and can continue to be proud of serving within our armed forces."

On Tuesday, Pentagon Press Secretary Rear Adm. John Kirby told reporters that Hagel has ordered the military services to review their appearance regulations for black women and ensure their "standards are fair and respectful to our diverse force while also meeting our requirements."

HOW TO STYLE:

Bob hair styles are really amazing and this one in particular is just another story to tell, first of all this hairstyles favors almost any one because of its black color , there's no other reason as to why you would miss trying out this hair style. Black does not clash with any color but rather gives a beautiful accent to any skin color and makes you stand out really amazingly. In the image the lady looked great with the side swept short bob that covers the ears to frame her face to perfection. The way it is lifted from the front to the sides and at the back creates a lot of volume and makes her long face shape appear much shorter. To try out this elegant look on your natural hair, follow the steps below;

 • Brush hair to the side and detangle with a wide toothed comb; your hair will look much better if it is free from tangles and knots and you can see the hair is straight so you have to detangle the hair, brush the wig to the sides in a side swept style that you see in the picture. Always detangle with a wide toothed comb to prevent hair from getting damaged.
 • Blow-dry the bangs to the side with the help of a smaller round brush; take your small round brush and blow-dry the hair at lowest heat level. Blow dry hair section by section starting from the lower section upward.
 • Blow-dry the rest of your hair while lifting it up and forward; blow dry the hair forward but away from the face, let the hair be layered and as you blow dry flip out some strands of the hair at the front.
 • Use a flat iron to straighten the hair; take your flat iron and grab random pieces of hair wrap them on the flat iron and straighten out the hair, you can use your fingers to slightly break through the hair.
 • Work a small amount shine serum on the hair; rub a small amount of shine serum on your hands and then pass it through the hair to make the hair look much brighter but remember not to apply a lot of the shine serum.

WIG FEATURES;

 • It is a short bob black wig with lots of volume from the front to the sides and at the back with bangs that cover your ears to frame your face to a really perfect appearance.
 • It features a lace front cap construction that allows styling away from the face, with this wig you will have a variety of styling options.
 • The wig is made with finest human hair material that feels and looks like real natural hair to make the wig really undetectable.

HAIR CARE;

 • Towel-dry the hair; from the shower you will find that your hair is dripping wet , easy and safe to dry the hair by towel-drying. But you still have to be careful with how you use the towel, do not rub or twist your wig in towel because wet hair is very delicate and can easily get damaged.
 • Make proper use of styling products; applying styling products is good for your hair and will keep it looking absolutely stunning but this will depend on how best you use the product. If you apply too much product on your hair ,it will become greasy and if you apply styling products to dry hair it will become stiff so master your procedure of using styling products.
 • Wash the hair with a quality conditioner; the best way to keep your hair moisturized is by conditioning.They are two ways in which you can condition, you can either deep condition or leave in either way will be good for your hair the only difference between the two is that you can apply leave in conditioner daily but it is not good to deep condition daily. You can deep condition once in a week, try It's A 10 Miracle Leave In Product, it will make your hair good and protect it from heat damage.

WIG CARE:

 • Apply a detangling spray on your wig; using a detangling spray on your hair will be a lot safer for your wig because you do not have to worry about the damages of brushing or combing your wig. The best of the best detangling spray is the 4 oz Hair Extensions Braid Weave Hair Wigs 909 Magic Spray Detangle Leave In Treatment Conditioner it conditions and detangles your wig.
 • Use a wig to comb the wig; if you want to comb the wig use a wig comb/pick comb to remove all tangles from the wig. Be very gentle when combing the wig, i recommend you to use Revlon Wig Lift Comb because it removes all tangles from straight hair.And this is very good for your wig.
 • Do not dry the wig on direct sunlight; always avoid drying the wig on direct sunlight as it affects your hair strands and in the long run your wig will start falling off. The rays of the sun light are too strong on wig fiber so this will make your wig weak lose its shape.

HOW TO STYLE;

The picture above features an amazing short bob hair style with well layered bangs all through the hair style falling down to her chin and just to the neck. It has the elegant full face fringe and a soft curve around the face that makes her oval face look absolutely amazing with the short bob hair style. Another eye catching thing about this hair style is the way the colors were beautifully blended, black at the top with brown at the middle and white at the bottom this will make you look very stunning. If you want to try out this hair style on your natural hair below are the steps you should follow;

 • Detangle the hair and wash with a good quality shampoo; it is best advised that you detangle the hair before you get your hair wet so that it looks perfect after styling. Wash the hair with a mild and good quality shampoo not just any shampoo your find.
 • Power dry the hair down and under; point the nozzle of your blow dryer down and make it follow your blow dryer this way you will be sure to have your hair dry much faster. The paddle will help to remove most of the moisture as the round brush will help you to make the hair smooth.
 • Make hair 100% dry and run a flat iron through the hair; The flat iron will make the hair a lot smoother and will make your hair really straight but make sure you pay great attention to the ends so that you level the ends of the hair under to create that nice sleek look.
 • Spray the hair with a light hold hair spray; apply a small amount of the hair spray to make the hair look sparkling cute.

WIG FEATURES;

 • The wig is made with the stylish and modern bob style with bangs that are well beveled under to give your face a flattered look. It is also further detailed with the beautiful colors which are black at the top, brown at the middle and white under.
 • It is also made from heat friendly human hair material that can be styled with heat tools at the lowest heat, for those that love styling your wigs, this one will definitely work for you.
 • It comes with cap less cap construction that creates the illusion of natural hair coming from the scalp and which makes the wig completely undetectable.

HAIR CARE;

 • Try using a voluminous mousse; the voluminous mousse will help to add body and volume to your hair most especially for those who have thin hair. It will help your hair to look much better after styling, please remember that you should not apply too much mousse. I recommend you to use the Big Sexy Hair Blow Dry Voluminous Gel Hair Styling Mousses.
 • Get regular hair cuts to keep your short hair style in shape; when it comes to short hair the best way you can look great with it is by making frequent haircuts part of you. This will help to keep your hair well leveled and free from split ends. It is best to trim every after 3 to 4 weeks.
 • Avoid applying color too often; Color is good to apply to keep your hair looking nice and give you that stunning look but remember your hair needs to breathe so that it can grow and color blocks the hair follicles from taking in and out air. It is best if you apply color once a month or even less to keep your hair healthy.

WIG CARE;

 • Brush the wig gently with a wire brush or pick comb; do not use a regular brush to brush the wig because it will make the wig fiber fall away thus destroying your wig and make it lose its shape.But remember wigs easily get tangled so you will need to detangle it before brushing it.Therefore you will need to use a pick comb or wire brush because it will cause little or no damage to your wig.
 • Never use hot water to wash the wig; when you are washing the wig add a tea-spoon full of shampoo to cold water and use the foam to gently massage the wig until it becomes clean. Using hot water will make the wig too dry and wash out all the moisture.And on the other hand cold water leaves the hair shiny and does not make the wig become dry.
 • Do not style when it's wet; to style the wig always make sure the wig is completely dry then you can style it in whichever way you want. It is much better to detangle the wig before you get it wet.

HOW TO STYLE;

Many have always had the mentality that people with long face or oval face shapes do not look smart with bob hair styles, and have always left them to those with round face shape. But I totally disagree with this because all that matters is going in for a hair style that matches your face shape, the lady in the picture has a long face shape and she looked absolutely gorgeous with the hair style. This bob hair style is wavy to give that lady a really sexy look and more attractive. It has a thick fringe that covers the whole fore head to make your long face shape look shorter. Try out the astonishing hair style on your natural hair with the steps below;

 • Apply a thickening lotion to the hair; from the shower leave the hair a bit wet or just dump and apply the thickening lotion, pour some thickening lotion to the hands then rub it together and apply it on the hair.
 • Continue by blow drying your hair using a medium-sized boar bristle round brush; the brush will help you achieve the hair texture you want, start blow drying the hair from the lower sections of the hair and continue to the top, this will create some bit of volume to the hair.
 • Using a 1¼-inch curling iron to curl the hair; after your hair has become completely dry, take small sections of the hair and as you get to the ends flip them up to complete your looks.
 • Finish with a light hold hairspray; spray the hair with a light hold hair spray, do not apply too much of the spray to prevent the hair from becoming too oily or even greasy.

WIG FEATURES;

 • The short bob wavy wig features a crown area that is hand tied for parting, this specifically creates the appearance of a natural hair coming from the scalp.
 • It also features layered soft bangs throughout the cap and thick fringe that covers the fore head for a trendier look, as we all know bangs are very fashionable lately.
 • It is further made with hand-tied top and front for the most versatile look, silky texture and high heat resistant fiber that can withstand the heat of styling tools however to keep it in perfect shape you will have to set at lowest heat level.

HAIR CARE;

 • Use a glossy anti-frizz serum; wavy hair just like hair is prone to frizz yet sometimes you need to comb the hair to move any tangles and knots. But this makes the hair frizz and makes the waves loosen up. The solution to calming frizz without causing damage to the hair is by applying an anti frizz serum Garnier Fructis Leave-In Anti-Frizz Serum for fizzy, dry and unmanageable hair, Sleek & Shine, 5.1 Fluid Ounce.
 • Always rinse your hair with cold water;It is highly recommended that using cold water to wash or rinse your hair is the best way to keep your hair shiny and prevents it from becoming dry. Hot water washes out all the natural oils in the scalp and leaves hair feeling rough and removes the moisture in your hair which is not good for your hair.
 • Try using coconut oil to unlock tangles; It is a good nourishment for your hair and is very great for preventing hair from becoming dry.For bob haircuts/hair styles oiling once a week is good enough so try Nature's Way Coconut Oil-extra Virgin, you will love the results.

WIG CARE;

 • It's unhealthy to wash your wig daily but it is best to moisturize it; apply a leave in conditioner to your wig to keep it moisturized, shinny and durable. For best results try the Motions Hold and Shine Styling Spray, 11.25 Ounce, because it revitalizes and softens hair and prevents breakage.
 • Avoid squeezing your wig in a towel; after washing your wig its best to let it air dry but if you must simply use a soft fabric towel to pat the wig but do not wring it in the towel. This will help keep your wig in perfect shape.

HOW TO STYLE;

I think the lady looks absolutely glamorous and will grab you lots of attention. This is a short bob style with soft bouncy curls that look like natural curls and will make you look very sexy and attractive . Its volume is simply amazing you do not have to worry about it looking nice on you because curly hair suits every face shape well. If you are naturally curly quit the fight to make your hair straight but keep the sexy look that curls give you by trying out the curly and stylish bob hair style. These are steps you can follow to style it on natural hair not wigs;

 • Leave hair dump and apply a styling product; it's always best to apply styling product to dump hair or slightly wet hair. They're a variety of styling products that you can apply to curly hair to make it look beautiful after styling it.
 • Insert small size hot rollers to your hair; before you apply any heat tool to your hair first apply a thermal protect-ant to avoid damaging your hair and your scalp. Leave the rollers in your hair about 10 minutes and then remove them. Don't leave them to stay in for so long.
 • Leave the curls to cool; when you remove the hot roller sometimes it is best to leave the curls to cool off the heat first before you continue to anything else.
 • Apply pomade for more definition of curls; apply the pomade on your hands and pass your fingers through the curls as you apply the pomade to the curls. Pass your fingers through the hair to break through the hair.
 • Finish the style with a medium hold spray; spray the curls with a medium hold spray to hold your curls firm.

WIG FEATURES;

 • It is a sexy deeply curly wig with dark brown color and light brown highlights and a cap less cap construction that creates the illusion of natural hair growth coming from the scalp to give the wig a natural looking appearance.
 • It features the smoothest and softest human hair material.Its fiber moves and feels just like natural hair, you absolutely have to try this on.

HAIR CARE;

 • Once in a while use a hair mask; soak your hair in hair mask once in a while, it is good to keep your hair well moisturized and it also helps to unlock any knots in your hair, so instead of fighting with your hair to remove the tangles and knots with combs which just damage your hair, it is much better if you used a hair mask. Try using the It's a 10 Miracle Hair Mask.It contains some of the best ingredients to keep your hair in the healthiest way possible.
 • Do not comb or brush the hair just finger comb; combing or brushing through the hair loosens the curls and makes your hair look funny so it is better to finger comb. Gently pass your finger through the hair and you will be good to go and with your hair still looking amazing.
 • Avoid over shampooing your hair; curly hair is well known for becoming dry easily simply because when hair is too curly it tends to become too hard for oil to move from the scalp throughout the hair shaft so if you shampoo the hair every day it will become dry and in the long run it will start to break.
 • Give your hair a break; try as hard as you can to leave your hair alone, keep your hands away, keep the tools away and you will have the hair perfect since curly hair easily becomes frizzy each time you touch it.

WIG CARE;

 • Keep your wig in a wig net; always store the wig in a wig net to keep the wig in perfect shape, this way you will not have any complaints about your wig getting damaged.
 • Condition the wig; conditioning the wig keeps the wig fiber well moisturized , and this way your wig will not become dry. You can leave in or deep condition sometimes.I recommend you to use Demert Wig Luster Conditioner 9.76 oz. Aerosol, because it is formulated to keep the wig hair sparkling, very soft and looking natural.
 • Store the wig on a wig head; when the wig is not in use because it is best if you hang it on wig head, mannequin or Styrofoam this way your wig will always be looking perfect.

HOW TO STYLE;

The lady in the picture with this cute hair style is simply adorable, this is one of those hair styles you cannot afford missing out if you want to be most attractive woman ever. If you are looking for that hair style that you can take to office and catch up with a party later, this is the ideal hair style for you to bump on. You will obviously be the center of attention with this Bob hair style with bangs. It has the beautiful fringe to make your long face appear shorter, the bangs are slightly beveled in to give you that flawless and modern appearance, and i for one totally loves this Hairstyle. It is further detailed with the unique ombre style and the color used looks great together I mean the dark brown with coffee brown. Try out the hair style on your natural hair with the steps below;

 • Apply straightening products to damp hair; leave your hair dump from the shower then apply a straightening product to the hair.
 • Use a blow-dryer to remove all the moisture; grab your blow dryer and begin drying the hair with a paddle brush or a vent brush this type of brush is very great to get a straight hairstyle.
 • Smooth the hair with a ceramic flat iron; now you have got to the most important step of styling which is ironing, you should be very good and careful when ironing to achieve this style. Take your iron, wrap small strands of hair around the flat iron and iron the hair to make the style straight, smooth and sleek as it like looks on the lady in the picture above.
 • Apply a shine serum to the hair; rub a reasonable amount of shine serum to the hair to give it that beautiful and shiny glow that will make the whole look stunning.

WIG FEATURES;

 • The gorgeous wig is straight and sleek made with the modern bob style and a beautiful fringe that covers the forehead and frames the face to perfection.
 • It is also features human hair material of high quality that is soft and smooth just like your natural hair, there is no way you will go wrong with the super stylish wig.

HAIR CARE;

 • Leave harsh chemicals alone; chemicals like harsh color and relaxers are too strong for your hair, and when you keep using them they make your hair weak and the end result is making them to break. If you have chosen to add color to your hair, it should be done only once in a blue moon.
 • Always use shampoo for color treated hair; after adding color to your hair you will have to use shampoo meant for color treated hair so that you keep your hair safe, try the Matrix Biolage Colorcaretherapie Color Care Shampoo and Conditioner Set 33.8oz 1 Liter, this will be perfect on your color treated hair.
 • Avoid washing the hair with soap; soap is the worst thing you can use on your hair because if it doesn't leave your hair and scalp dry it sticks into the hair which is not a good thing for these chemicals to be sinking in your hair. On that note always make sure that you wash the hair with shampoo.

WIG CARE;

 • Leave the wig to air dry; much as you may not have time to wait for the wig to air dry, this is the best way to enjoy the durability of your wig. Please have a variety of alternatives before you make your mind to wash the wig, this way you will not be desperate to dry your wig in unsafe ways like blow drying.
 • Always make brushing through the wig part of you; you need to keep the wig completely tangle free, combing also helps to keep the wig smooth. Do not excessively comb the wig, you will make the wig fiber fade and also shed off as time goes by.
 • It is not necessary to cut the wig; when styling the wig it is better if you do not cut the wig because it will make the wig lose its shape, so the more you cut the more it will destroy the wig. Trimming is only good for the wig not the hair.
